POSITION: A 60% academic staff position (24 hours per week) is available in Student Support Services (SSS) beginning Fall 2024. The official title of this position is Student Affairs Program Specialist, and the working title is Career Development Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of SSS. This individual is required to work in the office within the standard hours of 7:45am to 4:30pm. This position is contingent on grant funding, with an expected salary of $27,000-31,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The TRIO Student Support Services project receives funding from the U.S. Department of Education to promote the retention and graduation rates of 300 eligible students who are from low-income households, are first-generation college students, or have disabilities. The Career Development Coordinator contributes to this objective by assisting the students in setting career goals, gaining access to career development experiences, and preparing for and conducting the employment search.
